Cranberry-Orange Scones

3 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
5 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
2 sticks butter, chilled
zest and juice of 1 orange
1/4 to 1/2 c. craisins
1 large egg
3/4 c. heavy cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine first 4 ingredients. Cut in cold butteruntil mixture resembles course crumbs. Add in zest and craisins then cream egg and juice. stir just until combined then turn onto floured cutting board. dough will be crumbly, just press it together and don't over knead it!:) Roll into 10 inch circle about 3/4 inch thick. Cut into wedges, transfer to baking sheet and Bake for 22 minutes or until just barely starting to brown on edges. Allow to cool before icing.

Icing:
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 c. whole milk
4 T. melted butter
1/4 c. melted white chocolate chips
dash of salt

In a medium mixing bowl, stir together all above ingredients until smooth. Pipe over cooled scones.
