1/2 med. white onion
1/4 fresh jalapeno
1 garlic clove
1 small bunch of cilantro
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes
dash or 2 of salt
Throw all ingredients in the food processor in the order listed above. This isn't part of original recipe I have just found it works better for me:). Chop the 1/2 onion in half and in half again. Throw it in! Take your jalapeno and remove seeds unless you like more spice- I usually remove most of the seeds. Do a rough chop on the garlic and throw it in. Now with the cilantro-No Stems I repeat absolutely No Stems!! Learned this the hard way-very bitter tasting salsa! So just the actual leaves of the cilantro. Dump the can of whole tomatoes in and hit it with a dash of salt. Pulse it until its all chopped or however you prefer it:).
